The Curriculum of Menara Tirza Christian School Kindergarten
At Menara Tirza Christian School, our Kindergarten embraces the "Merdeka" Curriculum, designed to cultivate independence and holistic development in young learners. This innovative curriculum emphasizes a child-centered approach, encouraging exploration, creativity, and critical thinking. Through engaging and interactive activities, we integrate academic learning with moral and spiritual education, ensuring that children grow not only in knowledge but also in character. Our dedicated educators create a nurturing environment where each child feels valued and supported, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and personal growth.

Importance of the Menara Tirza Christian School Kindergarten Curriculum

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is the most fundamental level of education because a child's development in later stages is significantly influenced by optimal and meaningful stimulation provided from an early age. Early childhood education must be prepared in a planned and holistic manner so that during the golden age of development, children receive comprehensive stimulation, thereby developing various potentials they possess.
One of the efforts that can be made to develop this potential is through a structured educational program. One of the components for structured education is the curriculum. The curriculum for children with special needs or disabilities is the 2013 Early Childhood Education Curriculum, which is further developed according to the potential and needs of the child.

Learning through Play

Learning through play is an educational activity carried out in a playful atmosphere with a variety of play activities. Development programs are used to achieve Core Competencies (Kompetensi Inti) and Basic Competencies (Kompetensi Dasar).

Core Competencies

Core Competencies (Kompetensi Inti) in the 2013 Early Childhood Education Curriculum represent the level of ability required to achieve the Specific Developmental Goals (STPP) that early childhood students should possess by the age of 6 years.

Thus, Core Competencies operationalize the STPP into qualities that children must possess through various learning activities conducted through play in early childhood education settings. These qualities encompass descriptions of the main competencies categorized into attitudes, knowledge, and skills.
